Workshop Plasma Technologies - Current developments and opportunities for the future
On April 27th, 2018 the workshop on Plasma Technologies - Current developments and opportunities for the future will take place in the Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH in St. Veit / Glan (W3C). The event will be organized as part of the INTERREG V-A Italy - Austria 2014-2020 funded project ICAP (ITAT1010) - "Innovation through combined applications of plasma technologies".
The topic of the workshop is the deposition of functional thin films by means of PVD and atmospheric pressure plasma, such as hydrophobic / hydrophilic layers, metallic conductive or decorative coatings, antibacterial / antimicrobial, tribological, corrosion and adhesive layers on wood, metal and plastic. Another focus is the presentation of research results for the plasma activation and coating of wood-based substrates. For an informative, common exchange a discussion with the lecturing experts from research and industry is planned.
The workshop is free of charge and will be held in German with simultaneous translation into Italian. For organizational reasons, a registration is requested: j.sinic@kplus-wood.at
